The Covid Decision Tree: Part Two
A recollection.
As the pandemic went into overdrive near the end of Trump’s first term, the vaccine was looming large, part of a project called Operation Warp Speed. The idea was to develop a vaccine for Covid in record time. This whole idea set off more alarms for me. They were too loud to ignore.
First of all, we were told over and over that vaccines took years to develop, not months. Also, we knew that Covid was a coronavirus and one of the family of common cold viruses for which no vaccine could ever be developed. “There is no vaccine for the common cold, it’s impossible” was the commonplace thinking of the modern era. What changed?
Yet here was this vaccine rolled out days after Biden’s election. The word on the street was that the vaccine was ready before the election but Pfizer, in particular, decided to wait until after to announce it. I did not like that, either. What was the point of screwing over Trump, who green-lit Operation Warp Speed?
More weirdness ensued for anyone trying to keep up. Patents existed predating the epidemic involving both the virus and the vaccine. Also, anyone posting about the fishy nature of the vaccine got terminated from social media—banned completely from discussing anything. A slew of complainers and skeptics soon took to Parler, then Gab, BitChute, and Rumble to theorize to smaller audiences. Parler was the earliest of these alt platforms and was then shutdown, even as others replaced it.
There was no question that many of the people ranting about the “scamdemic” and the “clot-shot” seemed unhinged, but much of the questioning was valid and remained unanswered. What we learned in hindsight tells us that the mRNA vaccine, in particular, was never well tested and should get pulled from the market. The fact that it is still sold and promoted is amazing and an indictment of the modern medical establishment.
But there was no hindsight at the time; what there was, and it was obvious then as it is now, was a product that is not a vaccine in any traditional sense of the word. It’s a gene-therapy that alters the individual so the person getting the shot actually produces an alien “spike” protein to trick the immune system into recognizing this protein (which was also on the Covid virus) and kill it off.
It’s a fascinating concept, but experimental. And it led to other bits of gossip. One thing you heard from the complainers on BitChute and Rumble and from a group cited as the “disinformation dozen” (which included now HHS Secretary RFK, Jr.) was that this “therapy” was never tested on animals. They tested similar products on animals and the animals all died. So they said.
True or false? At the time, if you were accessing this material, as I was because of the podcast, you made the determination that you were not getting this shot. The fishy nature of all this culminated in the announcement that if you already had Covid, you still needed the shot. There was now no such thing as natural or acquired immunity. How does that work? Yet another red flag.
It seemed like the medical establishment and politicians were desperate to get this shot into people’s arms. The irony is that the Covid bug itself was now less severe and had been deteriorating as the French professor, Luc Montagnier, predicted it would. Still, there was a big push with initial claims of 100 percent effective! In fact, people would get the shot, then come down with a case of Covid. Everyone was lying about the effectiveness and it was apparent. You had to wonder what else they were lying about.
Soon afterward came the mandates. You had to get the shot, like it or not, and also the booster. This was implemented at corporations, universities, the military, everywhere. And you needed some sort of proof of vaccination to get into a bar or nightclub. There was talk of a vaccine ID card.
The counter programming began to show in athletes, who were required to have the shot and who then started dropping dead or collapsing on the field. This was some sort of anomaly, we were told. But it continued.
The irony is that even if it was caused by the vaccine, the manufacturers are indemnified by law. This accounts for the cavalier nature of the entire vaccine scene. How can any product, sold to consumers, not be subject to liability issues?
The other talking point was how dangerous the unvaccinated people were to everyone. But if the vax was 100 percent effective, who cares? You got the vaccine and shouldn’t worry about the horrible unvaccinated folks. Where was the logic?
Then the stats about the flu emerged, showing that during the first year of Covid deaths, pre-vaccine, there were almost zero flu deaths and very few cases. Everything was Covid. How does that work?
Most people were not confronted by this entire counter narrative. I was because I do a podcast about current affairs and I collect information. Most people heard from medical professionals on TV talking about “safe and effective” and how the vaccine stops the spread.
This promotion of the shots was on the Nightly News and the morning shows, and reiterated by the President and government officials. It was relentless and impossible to ignore.
But if you were paying attention, you spotted the censorship, the illogic, and the contradictions. As more details emerge about the origins of the virus and the safety issues of the vaccine, the experts and their outlets in the media all look like paid shills, never to be trusted again.
They should not have been trusted in the first place.— jcd
