The Covid Decision Tree: Part One

Dealing with the Pandemic. Hindsight and recollection.

I refused to get the mRNA Covid-19 shot and the decision was easy. Since the very beginning of the pandemic, there was a smokescreen of BS that began with the emergence of the virus right up to the fast tracking of the vaccine and the emergency use authorization that remained in place for far too long.

The fog of deceit and propaganda was clear to anyone who was paying attention. It started early and never let up, continuing to this day with annual shots still pushed by the same cast of characters, as if an underlying experiment has not reached its end date.

I often wonder if I would have succumbed to the pressure to get the vax had I not been doing a current events podcast, the No Agenda Show, during the whole fiasco. I hope not, but I often wonder. Let me go over the dubious events as they unfolded and explain how they made me skeptical about everything, allowing me to avoid the mania.

It began in earnest with the supposed origins of the virus: a wet market in Wuhan, China. There they said people went to get bats to eat. I’ve been to China a dozen times and never noticed bat-eating, but you do hear stories about the Chinese eating weird things. But the first red flag appeared when no example—not one—produced a bat or any animal with this particular virus.

Shortly thereafter, the Chinese published the genome. Within hours the French Nobel-prize winning scientist and virologist, Luc Montagnier, looked at the genetics, and said it was made in a lab. He made a lot of comments about its possible purpose and said it would soon revert and degrade back to a common Corona virus, like typical lab creations not made by natural selection. In fact, it is reverting.

This began the “origins” debate, red flag #2. It was immediately compounded by the revelation that there was a lab in Wuhan that worked with coronaviruses.

Then a deluge of weirdness started. It began with the proclamation that there was no treatment for the disease and people were advised to do nothing.

Trump mentioned hydroxychloroquin as a promising treatment and this created a stir and a rebuke because it was Trump who said it. He was then surrounded by a team of “advisors” who stayed with the litany that there was no treatment.

This “no treatment” refrain was important so the vaccine could enter the scene via the emergency use authorization. This would not be possible if there was any sort of treatment. Of course, doctors were treating individual patients and many ended up scolded or rebuked for their smart “doctoring.”

In hindsight, the “no treatment” gambit now looks like a long term strategy to get the vaccine into the public domain with the emergency use authorization. Slick.

Another red flag was the weird censorship of people with genuine expertise. A YouTube video of a group of doctors in Central California showed up one day on YouTube in which they expressed all sorts of skepticism about the virus and treatments. They removed the video within a few days.

One video that triggered me was produced by another YouTuber who visited the hospital in New York that was featured on the NBC Nightly News in a network presentation of the pandemic the night before. The network showed scores of ambulances at the hospital and trucks that were to become portable morgues for the overflow of dead bodies. The YouTuber went to the same hospital and nothing was going on. There were no morgue trucks, no ambulances, nothing hectic at all. He was quite befuddled and he cited the network news report earlier, wondering what gives. I was lucky to catch this posting and discussed it on the No Agenda Show. They also removed this video from YouTube immediately thereafter.

This was compounded by a couple of news sources showing a random busy Italian hospital full of patients and claiming it was in the US and it was all people with Covid.

I noticed the local hospitals were not flooded with ambulances or Covid patients at all.

Then there was the PCR test for Covid. It was well documented that this test was unreliable because it could be manipulated. Reports began to appear about how random deaths from various causes were attributed to Covid because hospitals got some sort of fee or compensation for anything Covid. Whether that was true or not, far too many suspicious things were cropping up. Yet more red flags.

This was all taking place in real time and anyone with a critical eye had to develop deep skepticism. How could anyone avoid the obvious?

The lock-downs and dubious “flattening the curve” were also in play. People were shut-ins, and small businesses shuttered. I never locked down as I was exempt as a journalist and podcaster. I was out and about as I observed empty roads and reckless driving with zero police presence. Meanwhile, some police were on the beaches detaining surfers or anyone getting fresh air.
